Joining a Waitlist

How breed waitlists and litter waitlists work on Anumau.

Two types of waitlists

Anumau has two separate waitlist systems depending on how specific you want to be.

Breed waitlist

You're interested in a breed but there's no litter available right now. Get notified whenever a new litter is posted for that breed in your area.

Litter waitlist

A specific litter caught your eye but all pets are taken. If someone drops out or a new pet is added, you'll be first in line.

Joining a breed waitlist

You can join a breed waitlist directly from any breed's page in the encyclopedia or from the search results.

  1. Find the breed you're interested in
  2. Click "Join waitlist" on the breed page
  3. Set your preferences — location range, pet type (male/female), and any other filters
  4. When a matching litter is posted, you'll get a notification

Joining a litter waitlist

If a litter is full, a waitlist button appears on the listing.

  1. Open the litter listing
  2. Click "Join waitlist"
  3. You'll be added to the queue — your position is shown on your profile under Waiting List

What happens when a spot opens up

When a pet becomes available — either because someone dropped out or the breeder added another pet to the litter — the next person on the waitlist is notified. From there:

  • You'll get a notification with a link to the litter
  • You'll have a limited window to respond and confirm your interest
  • If you don't respond in time, the spot moves to the next person in line

Managing your waitlists

You can see all your active waitlists from your profile under the "Waiting List" tab. From there you can remove yourself from any waitlist at any time.
